Position Overview:
As the Medical RCM and Credentialing Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our revenue cycle operations and provider credentialing processes on a contract basis. You will be responsible for directing and providing strategic leadership for our revenue cycle operations, including registration, insurance verification, charge capture, coding, revenue integrity, and optimization. Additionally, you will oversee payer enrollment and provider credentialing for our extensive network of healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for revenue cycle operations, ensuring standardization and implementation of best practices.
- Direct and administer policy for all operations activities related to revenue cycle, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage credentialing activities to ensure timely provider credentialing.
- Allocate financial and human resources to meet service needs and evaluate processes related to resources and clinical practice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in revenue cycle management and provider credentialing.
- Strong understanding of various software’s and systems and experience with system implementation and optimization.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven track record of achieving successful quality outcomes and implementing process improvements.
- Membership in professional organizations such as American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) or Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) preferred.
